3 medium size sweetcorns, shelled iodized salt
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp
1 spring onion, finely sliced Dried shrimp paste

1 tsp coriander, roasted Yellow bean
1 cm chickpeas
been boiled
Enough water Ginger
ground pepper

Corn omelette is a food made from corn, flour, chicken eggs, and fried. This food comes from Indonesia. Some variations use spring onions, red chilies, shallots, and garlic. Corn omelette, in Manado, is eaten with a chili sauce called dabu-dabu

How to make:

Coarsely crush the shelled corn. Set aside.

Puree the onion, garlic, coriander, kencur, red chili, salt, and sugar. Mix the ground spices with the corn in a bowl

Add flour, water, and scallions, then stir until evenly distributed

Heat the oil, then add 1 tablespoon of the cornbread mixture to the hot oil

Fry over medium heat until the bakwan turns golden. Lift and drain.
Mother's Bakwan Corn is ready to be served
