Directions
Fried ripe jackfruit would be the suitable snack for you, if you’re in vegan or keto diet. The sweet and its fiber-like texture is often consider as a meat substitute. Jackfruit is a good source of vitamin C and other important vitamins and minerals.
Steps
1 Done | Prepare the jackfruits, make sure to loosen into each bulb. |
2 Done | In mixing bowl, combine wheat flour, powdered sugar, rice flour and water. Mix well. |
3 Done | Add baking powder and vanilla powder into a mixing bowl. If desired, season the batter mixture with salt. Mix well. |
4 Done | Transfer in each of jackfruit bulb and coat them. |
5 Done | Heat the oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Test the oil by drop a pinch of flour and if it sizzles, it's ready. |
6 Done | Remove from the heat and drain the excess oil in paper towels. Serve it warm with your favorite drink. |
