Directions
Bacem or baceman is a food dish from the Mataraman area such as the cities of Semarang, Surakarta and Magelang in Central Java and DI Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta people like bacem which has a sweet taste, which is with a special spice of brown sugar. Actually bacem is a food processing method to preserve products, usually tempeh and tofu. Dibacem means soaked in sugar or salt water so that the food material becomes durable.
