  1. Ebi furai is Japanese fried shrimp. Derived from the word ebi fry which means fried shrimp. Unlike the tempura which is wrapped in a mixture of flour and egg white, the ebi furai is wrapped in crispy breadcrumbs.

Wet Dough:

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 cloves of garlic, puree
1 egg
50 ml coconut milk
Salt to taste

How to Make Ebi Furai:

Peel the prawns from the skin and leave the tail. Wash using clean running water.

Shrimp body parts.

Combine all wet ingredients and mix until smooth.

Dip the prawns in the dry flour, then into the wet mixture, and finally into the breadcrumbs. Repeat for the remaining shrimp.
