Quick and easy way to cook dessert soup which perfectly combine sweet potatoes and ginger. This recipe fulfill the needs to get warm dessert in the simple way, and vegetarian friendly on top of that.
Steps
1 Done | Peel, wash and cut the sweet potatoes into medium chunks or desired sizes. Set aside. |
2 Done | Skin and slice the ginger, then slightly bruise them to release the juice. |
3 Done | Bring water to boil on a pot. Once it boiled, transfer the sweet potatoes and ginger into pot. Bring to simmer for 15 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are soft enough. Add the brown sugar and stir to dissolve completely. Have a taste and adjust the sweetness to your preference. |
4 Done | Remove from the heat and ladle sweet potatoes, ginger and soup into bowls to serve. |
