Gulai is a dish made from chicken meat, various fish, goat, beef, offal, or vegetables such as young jackfruit and cassava leaves, which are processed in a savory spiced sauce. The characteristic of curry is that it is rich in spices including turmeric, coriander, pepper, galangal, ginger, red chili, shallot, garlic, fennel, nutmeg, lemongrass, cinnamon and cumin which are mashed, mixed, then cooked in coconut milk.

150 gr red chili
16 red onions
4 cloves garlic
4 cm ginger
3 cm turmeric
1 tsp salt

How to make:

Young jackfruit is peeled, cut into pieces, washed, squeezed with salt, then rinsed with clean water. Boil young jackfruit until soft

Cook coconut milk, add spices, and leaf spices until fragrant, bring to a boil

The coconut milk is stirred constantly so it doesn't break, let the coconut milk thicken, then add the young jackfruit pieces
