Steps
1 Done | In a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and crumbled, about 8-10 minutes. |
2 Done | Add the onion, green bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5-7 minutes. |
3 Done | Add the diced tomatoes (including the liquid), kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, and paprika to the skillet. Stir everything together and season with salt and pepper to taste. |
4 Done | Add the water to the skillet and stir to combine. Bring the chili to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. |
5 Done | Cover the skillet and let the chili simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. |
