
Deep-fried Scallops – Easy Breaded Fried Scallops Recipe
If possible, try to use sea scallops instead of bay scallops

1 Egg

1/4 cup All purpose flour

1 tablespoon Milk

1/4 teaspoon Salt

3/4 cup Bread crumbs

1/4 teaspoon Ground black pepper

4 cups Vegetable oilFor deep frying
Directions
Seafoods sometimes can be tricky to prepare at your own kitchen. However, scallops is pretty easy to handle. Deep fried scallops is good companion for French fries during your snack time.
Rinse the scallops and pat them dry with paper towels.
Prepare 3 bowls for the batter. In the first bowl, combine all purpose flour, ground black pepper and salt.
In the second bowl, put the bread crumbs. And in the last bowl, beat the egg with the milk.
Heat the vegetable oil in deep fryer machine or deep skillet over medium high heat.
Once the oil heated, dust each of the scallop lightly with the flour mixture. Shake off the excess flour, then coat with the egg mixture and dredge in the bread crumbs.
Add them in the oil and fry until golden brown evenly on both sides, it takes about 3-4 minutes each side.
Remove from the heat and drain the excess oil in the paper towels.
Serve it. If desire, serve with lemon wedges, mayonnaise or your favorite dipping sauce and French fries.
