Fried Egg Bitter Gourd

Some of us don’t like to eat bitter gourd because the bitter taste of it, even the health benefits they carry with. How about you can still enjoy the health benefits of it with tasty way? This recipe will be good alternative to enjoy bitter gourd in simple way of cooking.

Take the bitter groud and cut into half lengthwise. Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds.
Cut each of half into thin slices.

Transfer the bitter groud slices in a bowl and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of salt. Rub the salt into all over the bitter groud slices and let it sit for 20 minutes. This salt will help to reduce the bitterness for the bitter groud.

Rinse with water to remove the excess salt and pat them dry with paper towel.
In a bowl, beat the eggs and whisk together with 1/2 teaspoon salt, ground white pepper, light soy sauce and sesame oil. Set aside.

Heat the vegetable oil on skillet or wok over medium heat. Stir fry the minced garlics for about 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Add the bitter groud and turn the heat into high temperature and stir fry them for about 4-5 minutes or until soften.

Pour in the beaten egg and allow it to sit for a while. Then stir to break it up, continue stirring for about 3 minutes or until fully cooked.
Remove from the heat and serve it.
