
Czech Savory Potato Pancakes (Bramboráčky)
With garlic and marjoram

Directions
Czech traditional pan-fried potato pancakes or Bramboráčky (bram-bor-atch-key) are another option for you to cook simple meal at your home kitchen. As you may bored with the options, this pancake is one of the best companion for your chilled beer. Have it with cheese, bacon, ham, smoked meat, or just simply plain.
Wash and peel the potatoes. Coarsely grate the potatoes using a hand grater.
Transfer the grated potatoes to a mixing bowl. Add in the crushed garlic and marjoram. Season with salt and black pepper. If desired, add in caraway seeds. Stir them all together.
Beat the eggs and milk in a separate bowl. Add the eggs mixture into the potatoes bowl, and mix them well.
Gradually add in the all purpose flour and stir continuously to form a thick batter.
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Spoon 1/4 cup of the batter using a ladle into the heated oil, slightly flattening the batter to make a pancake shape.
Fry the pancake for 3 to 4 minutes or until turns to golden brown, flip and continue fry the other side.
Remove from the heat and drain the excess oil using paper towel. Taste the pancake and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
Repeat to fry the remaining batter and serve.
If desired, serve with cheese, ketchup or mustard on the top, or with sour cream dipping sauce.
