THE FRENCH TOAST
Slice the whole grain bread into eight equal slices, if you have the unsliced one.
Whisk in together eggs, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, baking powder and milk until well blended.
Heat the butter in a frying pan or skillet over medium heat.
Dip completely each slice of the bread in the egg mixture and let it soak for 30 seconds.
Place each slice of soaked bread in a skillet or frying pan. Let it cook for 3 minutes or until golden brown. Flip and cook another 3 minutes or golden brown for another side.
Remove from heat and transfer to a plate.
Slice bananas into around half inch thick and chop walnuts into smaller pieces.
Combine chopped walnuts with honey in a small bowl, make sure the walnuts are coated evenly.
Top the toasted bread with bananas slices and and honey coated-walnuts and top with maple syrup.
