Grilled Chicken Hearts Skewer
Charcoal grilling method will enhance the final taste compare to gas grilling method.
7.5 ounces Chicken heart
2 cloves Garlic
3 Red onionsMedium size
1/2 teaspoon Coriander
Add to taste TurmericGround finely
Add to taste GingerGround finely
Add to taste Salt
Add to taste Sugar
1/4 LimeOnly use the juice
Despite chicken hearts are easy and quick to cook, some people thought should avoid chicken hearts as it is an offal food. However, chicken hearts also bring health benefit for us due they are high in good quality protein, iron and zinc.
Thoroughly clean the chicken hearts and drain it.
Squeeze the lime on it and coat well the hearts, then put aside.
Prepare the seasoning by use food blender to mash garlic, red onions, coriander, turmeric, ginger, salt and sugar.
Put hearts and coat well with smashed seasoning and let it for an hour on fridge.
Take 5 to 7 hearts and thread into each skewer, and grill over medium heat until done.
To serve, prepare some fresh vegetables such raw cabbage, cucumber, carrot or lettuce.
Enjoy the grilled hearts with your preferred sauces or plain.
